Aiyaar is software for shops: point of sale, inventory, invoices, a khata, online stores and deliveries. This page covers the people who use Aiyaar to run a business (owners and staff), the shoppers who buy from stores made with Aiyaar, and riders and people who send parcels with Aiyaar Send.
What we keep
- Your account: name, email, phone, profile photo, and your password (stored only as a secure hash, never as written).
- Your business: what you put into Aiyaar, such as products, prices, stock, sales, invoices, customers, suppliers, expenses and your store's design.
- Shoppers: when someone orders from a store made with Aiyaar, their name, phone, address and order go to that store so it can deliver.
- Sign-in and security: the devices you are signed in on (browser, IP address, last active) and a record of important changes, so you can spot anything unusual.
- Payments for Aiyaar plans: what plan you pay for and payment references. Card and wallet details are handled by the payment provider (such as bKash or SSLCommerz); we do not store card numbers.
Why we keep it
- To run the service you use: sign you in, save your data, show your store, send codes and receipts.
- To keep accounts safe: email codes, alerts and finding misuse.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to tell you about your plan and important changes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Whose data it is
A business's data (its products, sales and customers) belongs to that business. Aiyaar keeps it for them and only uses it to provide the service. A shopper who wants their details changed or removed should ask the store; we help the store do it.
Who it is shared with
- The companies that host our servers and send our emails, only as needed to run Aiyaar.
- Payment providers, for paying for a plan or for an order, when you choose to pay that way.
- Riders, the name, phone and address needed to deliver an order.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use a few small cookies that Aiyaar needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering a store's cart, and showing staff a store preview. There are no advertising cookies.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data while your account is open. An owner can delete their business, and with it its data, from Settings. You can also ask us to delete your account at info@aiyaar.ltd. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
Keeping it safe
Every page is served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, payment keys are encrypted, and each business can only see its own data. You can turn on sign-in codes and sign out other devices from My profile.
Children
Aiyaar is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect.
