Pages, blog and reviews

Besides your products, your online store has pages about your shop, a blog, and reviews from shoppers. You manage all three under Online store in the dashboard menu.

#Store pages

Your store comes with five pages: About, Frequently asked questions, Privacy policy, Terms and conditions, and Returns and refunds. Every store starts with sensible text, so they are never empty. They are linked in your store's footer.

Open Online store → Pages to see them. Each page shows:

• starting text: you have not changed it yet.
• hidden: shoppers cannot see it.
• View: opens the page on your store.

#Edit a page

1. Press Edit next to the page.
2. Change the Title if you like.
3. Write in Text. Press Preview to see how it will look, and Edit to go back.
4. Turn Show on the store on or off.
5. Press Save.

Writing tips (also shown under the box):

• Start a line with ## for a heading.
• Start a line with - for a bullet.
• Leave a blank line between paragraphs.
• Put two stars on each side of words to make them bold, like **this**.

Changed your mind? Press Use starting text to go back to the text Aiyaar gave you.

#The FAQ page

The FAQ page works a little differently. Instead of one text box, you get Questions. Type a question and its answer, and press Add question for more. Press the x next to a question to remove it.

#Blog

The blog is for tips, news and offers for your shoppers: a health tip, a new arrival, a seasonal offer. Published articles appear on your store's blog page.

#Write an article

1. Open Online store → Blog.
2. Press Write article.
3. Fill in:
   • Title.
   • Web address: optional. If you leave it empty, it is made from the title.
   • Short summary: shown in the article list.
   • Cover image: press Upload to add a picture.
   • Article: the text. The same writing tips as pages work here.
4. Turn on Published to show it on your store now, or leave it off to keep it as a draft.
5. Press Save and publish (or Save draft).

Drafts are only visible in your dashboard. In the list, each article shows published or draft. Use the pencil button to edit and the bin button to delete. A deleted article disappears from your store straight away.

Use Search at the top of the list to find an article.

#Reviews

Shoppers who are signed in to your store can rate and review your products with Write a review on the product page. A new review waits for you before anyone else sees it.

1. Open Online store → Reviews. It shows reviews that are Waiting.
2. Read the review. You see the stars, the product, who wrote it and when. verified purchase means the shopper really bought it.
3. Choose what to do:
   • Publish: show it on the product page.
   • Hide: keep it off your store.
   • Reply: write an answer, then press Save reply. Your reply shows under the review as "Reply from" your shop name.

Use the list at the top to switch between Waiting, Published, Hidden and All. You can publish a hidden review later, or hide a published one.
