Online store
Payments and delivery charges
bKash, cards, cash on delivery, and where you deliver.
Decide how shoppers pay on your online store, and what they pay for delivery. Both are set up under Online store in the dashboard menu.
Ways shoppers can pay
At checkout, shoppers see the payment options you have turned on:
| Option | What the shopper sees |
|---|---|
| Cash on delivery | Cash on delivery: pay when the order arrives. Always on. |
| bKash | Pay now with bKash |
| SSLCommerz | Pay now: card or mobile banking (Visa, Mastercard, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, internet banking) |
| Card (Stripe) | Pay now by card |
Online payments go straight to your own merchant account, not to Aiyaar. Orders paid online show as paid in Orders by themselves.
Note: If a cart has only digital products, cash on delivery shows as Pay the shop directly (bKash, Nagad or bank to you). See Your online store.
Turn on bKash or SSLCommerz
You need your own merchant account with bKash or SSLCommerz first. They give you the details to paste here.
- Open Online store → Payments.
- Find the bKash or SSLCommerz card.
- Type your details:
- bKash: App key, App secret, Merchant username and Merchant password.
- SSLCommerz: Store ID and Store password.
- Press Save details.
- Turn on Offer bKash at checkout or Offer SSLCommerz at checkout.
- When you have live merchant details, turn off Sandbox (test) mode.
When everything is ready, the card shows live. If it shows needs keys, some details are missing.
Saved secrets are never shown again. To change one, type the new value and save. To stop using a gateway, press Disconnect.
Tip: Leave Sandbox (test) mode on at first and place a test order to check it works. Then turn it off for real payments.
Turn on card payments (Stripe)
- Create or sign in to your Stripe account and copy your API keys.
- Open Online store → Payments.
- Under Card payments, paste the Publishable key and the Secret key, then press Save keys. Aiyaar checks the key with Stripe before saving it.
- Turn on Accept card payments at checkout.
Card orders not paid within two hours are cancelled, and their stock goes back. To stop, press Disconnect Stripe.
Delivery options and charges
Shoppers pick a delivery option at checkout. You need at least one before you publish your store.
- Open Online store → Delivery.
- Press Add option.
- Fill in:
- Name: for example "Inside Dhaka" or "Outside Dhaka".
- Type: Flat rate, Free delivery or Pick up in store.
- Price: the delivery charge (for a flat rate).
- Free from order of: optional. Delivery is free when the order is this much or more.
- Delivery time: for example "1–2 days".
- Description: a short note for shoppers.
- Keep Active ticked and press Save.
Add one option for each area or speed you offer. For example:
- Inside the city: flat rate 60, free from order of 1000, 1 day.
- Outside the city: flat rate 120, 2–3 days.
- Pick up from the shop: free.
To change an option, press the pencil button. To stop offering it for a while, untick Active. To delete it, press the bin button.
When a shopper picks Pick up in store, checkout does not ask for an address. For orders with only digital products, there is no delivery step at all.
Coupons and sales at checkout
Shoppers can type a coupon code at checkout, and running sales lower prices by themselves. See Coupons, sales and banners.
